Final mock drafts have Jared Goff to the Rams with the No. 1 pick

As we arrive at the final week before the NFL draft, Jared Goff looks like the top selection

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

When the now Los Angeles Rams moved up to the number one overall pick, many outlets reported they were planning on taking North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz. Two weeks later, all signs are pointing to Jared Goff as the top overall selection. ESPN analysts Todd McShay and Mel Kiper teamed up for a three-round mock draft last week where they have Jared heading to the Rams at number one.

More recently, Profootballtalk's Mike Florio cast his vote for Jared at the number-one overall position based on a local Los Angeles Times writer flipping his decision.

Farmer wrote an in depth piece about the former Cal quarterback which is a must read as we approach the NFL draft. It dives into the influence of Jared's father's and Jared's resilience during the awful 1–11 freshman campaign. This should be an interesting week as we get closer to Thursday night, I would expect a few more rumors to come out about the number-one position before the draft starts.

Cal fans, how do you feel about Jared going number one overall?
