Go Bears!

Cal has offered a quarterback for the 2017 recruiting class. The Bears haven't been too active on this front quite yet recruiting-wise (they have quite a crowded depth chart at the moment), so any news of an offer is a sign that

The target this time is Chase Garbers from Corona del Mar in Newport Beach.  Garbers is coming up to Cal today for an unofficial visit and could be one of our first targets to be Cal's quarterback commit for this class. Garbers also worked out with Jared Goff this offseason and learned quite a few things. More from Ryan Gorcey.

247Composite ranks Garbers a three star quarterback (0.8422), the 39th best pro-style quarterback and 82nd best prospect in California. Offers for Garbers include Arizona State, Boise State, Boston College, Illinois, Purdue, Wake Forest, Washington State.

Here are the highlights for Garbers.
