As expected, Jaylen Brown will turn pro. Brown announced his decision to declare for the 2016 NBA Draft today and will be a potential top five pick in June.
This was hardly a surprise. Despite Brown's struggles down the stretch, the freshman still is very much pro-ready. He has a lot of development to do, but he can make those adjustments better at the next level. We'll monitor Brown's status in the lead up to the NBA Draft.
Jaylen had a spectacular freshman campaign, with a wide array of dunks, spectacular drives and finishes. Brown finished as the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, was a National Freshman of the Year finalist, led Cal in scoring, and elevated the Bears to a third place finish in the Pac-12 and a top four seed for the first time in Cal basketball history. The season didn't end so well, but there's no denying Brown's season was one of the most impressive debuts of a Golden Bear in quite some time.

Go Jaylen! Go Bears!
I will be continuing my education, I want to make sure I say that. I'm talking with my advisor about how to graduate as quickly as possible.
