There are so many names popping up on the transfer market for Cal basketball that we're approaching the spot where I'm losing track of all the names and faces. Here's a look at the newest names.
One prospect that has been mentioned locally is Devin Watson, a point guard from the San Francisco Dons. Cal has been in touch with Watson, along with a host of other West Coast programs.

At 6'1 and over 165 pounds, Watson averaged 20.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.9 rebounds a game in his sophomore season and was on average the third highest scorer in the West Coast Conference. Watson would be eligible for the 2017-18 season and would compete with Brandon Chauca and Don Coleman for the starting point guard spot if the Bears managed to land him.
Another prospect is Ray Kasongo from Tennessee (I do not believe that Martin and Kasongo overlapped too much in terms of recruiting before Martin left for Cal).

The 6-8, 245 pound forward had a minimal impact with the Vols in his first season. He is a freshman and might fit the defensive profile Cuonzo Martin is trying to build, because there is a lot of work to do on the other side.
Cal fans, your thoughts on either of these transfer targets?
