Could Cal finish the season in the top 25?

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The California Golden Bears are a strong Pac-12 tournament showing away from their first top 25 finish in over a decade. Cal moved up a spot in both the AP & Coaches, situated at 24th. If Cal can finish the Pac-12 tournament with one win (and preferably two) without a terrible loss, there's a very good chance the Bears will keep their ranking before the start of March Madness.

Cal also moves up to 15th in the RPI, thanks in large part to their 16th best strength of schedule and an 8th place conference RPI. I'm not sure what any of this means, but I hear better RPI can often correlate to better seeding, so it might bump the Bears up a seed from the current projections.
