With Cal's win over Arizona State, the Bears clinched the third seed in the Pac-12 Tournament. Cal and Arizona finished tied in the standings, but the Bears won the tiebreaker with the Wildcats since Cal beat Pac-12 champion Oregon once and Arizona lost their only meeting.
Here's the path the California Golden Bears will take to try and win their first ever Pac-12 Tournament. All games will be late Thursday, Friday and Saturday night if they can get that far through the tournament, so they will accessible to all.
Cal will start off playing the winner of Oregon State or Arizona State. Cal swept ASU, but would probably prefer Oregon State since the Sun Devils seem to be a pretty tough matchup for the Bears--both games were very much in doubt until the final seconds. The game will be Thursday night at 8:45 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports 1.
If Cal advances, they will face the winner of Utah vs. USC-UCLA. The Bears had trouble with the Utes last time they faced off, but did beat them soundly in the Pac-12 season weekly opener. The game would be Friday night at 8:45 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports 1.
The Pac-12 tournament championship is Saturday night at 7:15 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports 1. Arizona or Oregon are the likely matchups here, with Colorado a dark horse since they've beaten both teams.
