Cal football recruiting visit: Kentucky QB commit Mac Jones coming March 30

The Kentucky Wildcats have a quarterback commit. But Mac Jones isn't done taking his trips.

Jones is visiting Tempe early this week to check out the Arizona State Sun Devils after receiving an offer. Berkeley is next up on March 30th, as Jones becomes one of Cal's first potential quarterback recruiting targets for the 2017 cycle.

Cal needs at least one quarterback in this cycle, and Jones is one of the first quarterbacks that has paid an actual visit.

The 6'2, 180 pound signal-caller hails from The Bolles School in Jacksonville. Jones does not currently have an offer from Cal at the moment, but with the visit happening, it might only be a matter of time  According to 247 Composite, Jones hails the No. 468 overall prospect in the Class of 2017 and the 24th pro style quarterback.
