Bears win! It is a 5-0 outcome courtesy of another brilliant pitching performance, this time from senior Ryan Mason - who earns his 2nd career shutout as a Golden Bears.

Offensively, Bears took the early lead thanks to the Pac-12 leading 7th homer (a solo shot) from catcher Brett Cumberland. Mitchell "El Gaucho" Kranson doubles the Cal lead with a homer of his own.
After some missed opportunities to break the game open, Bears tag on two more runs in the 5th inning. A 5th run was scored in the 6th when the Bears took advantage of a Beaver miscue.
Bears will go for the series sweep at 1 pm on Saturday.
