Kunaszyk joined Cameron Goode as Cal's linebacking commits for this class. He hails from American River College and will compete to play at the mike linebacker position. He has three years to play three.
More from Marc Tausend at Golden Bear Report.
Cal is thin at the linebacker position going into 2016. Jalen Jefferson graduated. Michael Barton moved onto Arizona. Jake Kearney medically retired. Nathan Broussard decided against another year of eligibility. So the Bears have three linebackers that saw significant reps that are back this season: Hardy Nickerson, Ray Davison and Devante Downs. There will be competition on that two deep chart this season from plenty of new faces.
Here are Kunaszyk's video highlights. What are your thoughts on his tape?
Welcome to Cal Jordan! Go Bears!
