Cal basketball recruiting: Don Coleman reaffirms commitment, Nicholas Robinson offered

Do the Bears have a late replacement for Tyson Jolly?

Two quick Cal basketball recruiting updates.

For those worried about Cal's other 2016 commit, Don Coleman, he is staying a Golden Bear. Coleman made it clear that he wants to be at Cal. So the Bears will have a solid replacement for Tyrone Wallace once he departs.

More on Coleman here.

"Yeah it's a lot man, but I still see next year as a way to forget about this year with another good strong year," he told BearTerritory on Sunday afternoon. "My relationship with coach [Tracy] Webster and coach Martin is too strong to give up on them. I'm in it until the end no matter what. I look forward to still bringing a great attitude and still have a big season next year, man."

With Cal losing Tyson Jolly's commitment, the Bears need to find a wing replacement if they can't get him back into the fold. With the 2016 cycle coming to a close, Cal has offered shooting guard Nicholas Robinson from Chicago.

Robinson currently holds an offer from Indiana State. St. Joseph's might be taking a look as well. Here's a look at some of his highlights.

The Bears would like to have two prospects in this class to ensure they don't have too thin a roster going into 2016-17 and two potential early declarations in the cards. Getting Robinson along with Coleman would give Cal the two prospects they need.
