Cal Football Pro Day video: Jared Goff performs for the scouts

How did this go?

Cal Football

How did Jared Goff handle Pro Day? Pretty well it seems!

First of all, Goff's hands got bigger. That's nice to know you can still do that.

Here's a sample of some of Goff's throws on the day.

Goff threw 69 passes in all, completing 61 in all. It's reported that some of these were wobbly throws, although there were some wind.

Given that most of Cal's offensive skill players graduated this season, Goff was able to throw to many of his old teammates in Bryce Treggs, Stephen Anderson, Kenny Lawler, Trevor Davis, Darius Powe, Maurice Harris, Daniel Lasco and more.

Goff threw a few wet footballs, because hands!

Cleveland Browns quarterbacks coach Pep Hamilton made sure of that by dousing a few footballs with water before handing them to the Cal quarterback.

It was a Pro Day wrinkle designed to see if Goff — and his reportedly small hands — could throw with velocity and accuracy in adverse weather conditions.

Goff launched the wet ones just fine, including a 45-yard deep shot on the final throw of his session Friday in front of NFL draft evaluators.

NFL Network's Mike Mayock had this to say.

We'll have a more thorough Pro Day summary at some point, including all of the other Cal players involved in today's festivities.
