It's still unclear which teams really want to take Jared Goff in the 2016 NFL Draft. The Cleveland Browns seem like a likely candidate with the second overall pick, but reports are currently varying. The Dallas Cowboys might be interested in moving up, but who knows?
Enter the San Francisco 49ers. Colin Kaepernick is reportedly not happy with how he was treated the last few seasons, and he wants out, even with a new head coach.
Bottom line with Kaepernick - jets have not and are not interested. Colin has wanted out for quite some time and this impending divorce...

Was reported months ago. Hiring of Chip Kelly changed nothing. He's done nothing to build a relationship and a trade remains very likely...

It's unclear whether this relationship can be mended, which would be rough for Chip Kelly; Kaepernick seems like the quarterback best tailored to execute the type of system Chip likes to run.
However, that could open up an opportunity for Jared Goff to slide right into his hometown team.
The 49ers have the seventh overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. If they could dangle Kaepernick to an NFL team with a higher pick, it's quite possible they could trade up and select Goff. Goff figures to fit right into Chip's style of offense, with a shotgun spread, up-tempo style of offense.
What are your thoughts you hybrid Cal and 49ers fans? Would you prefer rebuilding with Goff or sticking with Kap? Each option has to pretty tantalizing.
Go Bears!
