Defensive end Evan Weaver has faxed in his commitment to Cal. Oregon tried to make a move at the last minute, but Weaver stayed firm to the Bears. In terms of absolute gems, Weaver is near the top.

Weaver was named the state player of the year by the News Tribune, racked up 122 tackles, 36 TFL and 22.5 sacks. He has drawn comparisons to Travis Long from his head coach.
