This is the Jabari Bird Cal basketball thought they were getting two years ago, and he's starting to finally realize his talent. Bird has become the elder statesmen of the team, and he has started to showcase his offensive talents these past two weeks with three double digit scoring performances in a row (and six out of the last eight games). Reef wrote about Bird's emergence yesterday, check it out in greater detail.

Bird all capitalized with a sensational performance against the Oregon schools, ensuring a rout of the Ducks and carrying the offense against the Beavers. Bird had 24 points on 9 of 14 shooting and grabbed six rebounds to beat Oregon, also chipping in two assists, two steals and a block. Jabari was just as good against Oregon State, with another 9 of 14 shooting performance on 23 points, as well as seven rebounds and four assists.
