1st Half:
This might have been the worst half of Cal Basketball under Cuonzo Martin, atleast offensively. Cal did not score in the last 2:32 in the half, and only mad 2 of their final 10 shots of the half. Ivan Rabb had 6 rebounds but shot 0 for 2. Sam Singer led the team with 7 points on 3/6 shooting, 1⁄3 from 3. Jabari Bird returned to the floor since missing the last few games due to back spasms. He had 2 points on 1/7 shooting, 0/4 from 3. Cal as a team shot just 25% from the field and 6.7% from 3. Princeton did not fare any better, only shooting 27.6% from the field and 9.1% from 3.

2nd Half:
The Bears came alive in the second half. Charlie Moore and Jabari Bird helped the Bears gain some separation from the Tigers. Charlie Moore had 15 points on 6/9 shooting, 1⁄3 from 3. Jabari Bird returned to the floor and finished with 13 points 5/11 from the floor, 1/5 from 3 and added in 8 rebounds. Ivan Rabb looked hampered from the right hand injury and looked very much in pain at any incidental contact. Ivan finished the night with just 6 points on 3/9 shooting, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks. Ivan missed all of his free throw attempts as well.

What do we need to work on Cal fans? How important is Jabari Bird’s return?
