Cal needs offensive linemen, particularly on the outside at tackle. One big recruit from this cycle seems to fit the bill.
San Pedro offensive tackle Nick Ford took his trip up to Berkeley recently and liked what he saw.

Ford is a Cal legacy; his father Michael was a wide receiver with the Bears. Ford received his Cal offer at the end of October.
I'm blessed to say I received my 13th offer from The University of Cal Berkeley!!! #Goldenbears #pac12 #d1 pic.twitter.com/M80iaxjwLH

Ford is ranked by 247Sports as a three-star offensive lineman (0.8247), and the 131st best offensive tackle and 129th best California prospect. Ford has offers from programs like Arizona, BYU, Nevada (who he originally committed to before reopening his recruitment), and San Diego State.
Take a look at Ford’s highlights. What do you think of him as a potential Cal target?
Out of all the major prospects on the board, I like Cal’s chances with Ford the best along the offensive line, especially given the legacy aspect. Cal has two commitments from offensive lineman in Casey Roddick and Michael Saffell.
