This is undoubtedly the best team Cal will play all year, as undefeated Washington comes into Berkeley looking for a 9-0 campaign. Both Cal and UW had similar results against a good Utah team; however Washington beat them on the road and we won at home.
This is good news for Cal fans because we know if we play our game we can compete with an elite caliber of Washington. Also we are undefeated at home this year. UW QB Jake Browning is having himself a year. A dark horse for the Heisman trophy, Browning leads the top scoring offense in the PAC 12. UW also gives up the least points in the PAC 12. While we are underdogs by around 17 (it keeps changing), I have confidence that we can at least compete. Go bears.
