Some Cal basketball injuries for you to chew on.
Jabari Bird has missed the last week of Cal basketball games due to back spasms, and they are rumored to have sideline him for at least another week. Bird will not suit up tonight and will not play on Wednesday against Louisiana Tech.
#Cal SG Jabari Bird has been ruled out for tonight's contest against Southeastern Louisiana and Wednesday against Louisiana Tech. #Pac12MBB

Consider Jabari Bird questionable for the Pearl Harbor Invitational at best. #Pac12MBB #Cal #Pac12Hoops

Grant Mullins will have to prove he can continue to produce. Cal will have to rely on more two guard lineups with Sam Singer and Charlie Moore until Bird returns, and Stephen Domingo and Roger Moute a Bidias have to keep on chipping in to fill for Bird’s absence.
Bird is not the only Bear injured. Kameron Rooks is also out indefinitely after sustaining a knee injury on Friday. More from Cal basketball:
The center sustained the injury to his left knee during Friday’s contest against Wyoming. Rooks is undergoing further evaluation by the Cal medical staff to determine the full extent of his injury and will consult with doctors regarding the timeline for his return.
Cal doesn’t really have many replacements for Rooks other than playing more small ball lineups. Kingsley Okoroh will play more and I guess you see more Roman Davis.
