Cal is 11.5 point underdogs against Stanford for the 2016 Big Game

Go Bears. Beat Stanford.

NCAA Football: California at Stanford Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The California Golden Bears are double digit underdogs for the fourth straight week against the Stanford Cardinal. Cal sits at a line of +11.5 in Vegas in this year’s edition of the Big Game, as they look to end a six year losing streak against their rivals.

For all the hemming and hawing over Stanford, they appear to be quite secure in the upper echelon of the Pac-12 this season. The Cardinal got blown out by Washington and Washington State...but so did Cal. Stanford’s only other loss is to Pac-12 South leader Colorado. The Cardinal have handled their business with the rest of their schedule, including wiping out USC, UCLA and Notre Dame, and most recently destroying Oregon in Autzen last week. Cal is on a three game losing slide and is hoping to avoid their third losing season in four in the Sonny Dykes era.

Cal and Stanford are set for a 2:30 PM Pacific kickoff on the Pac-12 Network.
