Two Cal home wins, two Pac-12 offensive players of the week! First Chad Hansen had one of the greatest weeks ever against Texas (including being named to the Biletnikoff Watch list), and now Davis Webb takes home the honor of Pac-12 offensive player of the week!
Congratulations to @CalFootball's @Davis_Webb7 on being named #Pac12FB Offensive Player of the Week! pic.twitter.com/sVB65HVuWu

Webb threw four long touchdown passes in the Utah victory, allowing Cal to pull off the win without a single red zone trip! Webb is near or at the top of the list in a bunch of FBS stats.
- 1st in touchdowns thrown (22)
- 2nd in yards per game (428.6, only trailing his Texas Tech compatriot Patrick Mahomes). 1st in passing yards (since Mahomes has played only four games, Webb five)
- 1st in attempts (257, 27 attempts ahead of any other quarterback)
- 1st in completions (160)
- 24th in passer rating (155.9)
- 42nd in yards per attempt (8.3)
If he continues on this track, I’d have to say the Webb graduate transfer is ranking up there in terms of greatest offseason recruiting stories in Cal football history.
