Cal vs. USC, 1st quarter: Cal kicks off our 37th (or so) attempt to defeat USC since our last win over them

Thursday nights is always associated with Friends for me, which is absurd since that show has been off the air since 2004—over ten years ago.

And the last time the California Golden Bears defeated the USC Trojans, Friends was still on-air. (Well, producing new TV shows, considering it's still on-air in syndication.)
