Cal Battles for Conference Control on the Road

BERKELEY -- After rallying to a 1-1 record on the road last weekend, Cal field hockey returns to the Bay Area for a pair of games against two tough America East West Division opponents. The Golden Bears take on Pacific at Pacific Field Hockey Turf in Stockton on Friday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. to start the weekend. On Sunday, Cal heads to the Farm to play Stanford at 1 p.m.

Bears Vie For Indoor Berths At Regional

BERKELEY – California returns to action when the Golden Bears compete in the ITA Northwest Regional Championships presented by Oracle from Friday through Tuesday at Stanford's Taube Family Tennis Stadium. The main draw singles and doubles champions will qualify to play in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships from Nov. 3-6 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.

The regional will feature the fall debuts of Cal senior and four-time All-American Maegan Manasse and of newcomer Maya Jansen, the former two-time NCAA doubles champion who joined the Bears after graduating from Alabama. Jansen, who won her NCAA titles in 2014 and 2015, is a graduate student at Cal.

Top-Tier Pac-12 Matches Loom for #10 Cal

No. 10 California women's soccer returns home from a three-game road slate for a pair of battles against top-3 Pac-12 opponents. The Golden Bears face Utah on Thursday, October 20 at 2 p.m. PT and take on league leader and No. 22 Colorado on Sunday, October 23 at 1 p.m. PT in Berkeley. Fans can follow contests via LiveStats (calbea.rs/CalLiveStats ) and the Bears' Twitter account @CalWomensSoccer. The Cal-Utah matchup will also air on Pac-12 Networks.
