The good news keeps on coming! Cal has a new commitment in this class!
Cal has landed their latest commit of the 2017 recruiting class. Meet Jordan Gemark-Heath, a 6-2, 205 pound athlete who hails from Cathedral Catholic in San Diego. Genmark-Heath was on his official visit to Cal this weekend and officially took the pledge this morning.

Genmark-Heath is ranked three stars (0.8473) and currently sits 827th overall in the 247 Composite. He currently rates as the 77th best recruit in California and the 59th best athlete overall in this class.
Heath holds offers from Pac-12 programs like Utah, Oregon State, and Washington State, with other FBS schools like Vanderbilt, Northwestern and Boston College sending out official offers as well.
Genmark-Heath becomes the third athlete recruiting commit in this class, joining Jeremiah Hawkins and Michael Onyemaobi. It remains unclear what position Jordan will play at the next level, but based on his highlights I’d guess the coaching staff would want him at safety!
Here is the Hudl reel from Genmark-Heath from his junior season.
Welcome to Cal Jordan! Go Bears!
