The 2016 college football offseason might have gotten off to a roaring start for the California Golden Bears with an early recruiting prize. Barring a bizarro Twitter hack, Cal might have just flipped Stanford commit and four-star cornerback Nygel Edmonds from their rivals on the Farm.
The Southern defensive back has been firm to Stanford for nearly all of 2015, and reportedly had been admitted to the program a few weeks back. But he doesn't look like a Stanford commit anymore.
Take a look at Edmonds's Twitter account and be absolutely confused.
Now, let's be on our guard. There is no official announcement anywhere. Edmonds made his Stanford commitment back in April. But early indications from 'sources' are very promising.
