Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Kori Griswold tallied 11 saves, but the nation's No. 1 offense proved to be too much for the Golden Bears as top-ranked Connecticut overpowered Cal 10-0.

California's Billy Griffith won the biggest title of his young college career on Sunday when the Golden Bear sophomore defeated teammate Florian Lakat, 10-6, in the Porsche Napa Valley Tennis Classic singles final at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort.
Men's Water Polo
One day after cruising to a pair of decisive wins, the No. 4-ranked Cal men's water polo team wrapped up play at the Aggie Roundup with more of the same as the Bears collected one-sided victories over Concordia and Fresno Pacific to finish the weekend a perfect 4-0.
Volleyball
Christine Alftin and Lara Vukasovic each had eight kills but the Cal volleyball team fell to No. 13 UCLA on Sunday, 25-20, 27-25, 25-16 at Haas Pavilion.
Women's Swimming and Diving
MISSY FRANKLIN - Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin was one of only three swimmers to win five medals at the 2015 FINA World Championships, as she reached the podium in a pair of individual events and three Team USA relays. On the individual front, Franklin claimed silver in the 200m back in 2:06.34 and bronze in the 200m free in 1:55.49. Alongside her U.S. teammates, she earned gold in the 4x200m free relay and 4x100m mixed free relay and bronze in the 4x100m free relay. Franklin owns 16 career FINA World Championships medals, including a record 11 gold. Earlier in 2015, she closed out her collegiate career with victories at the NCAA Championships in the 200y back, 200y free and 200y IM for the national champion California Golden Bears.
