The 3-0 Cal Bears head north to the unfriendly confines of Husky stadium to take on Washington this Saturday. This is the second straight road game for the Bears who could benefit from a less stressful win than last week. A lot is at stake for Cal, who is looking to improve to 4-0 before returning home to meet the Washington State Cougars.
Washington comes into this game with plenty of momentum after knocking off Utah State last Saturday. Freshman quarterback Jake Brown had his best college game to date and finally looks comfortable in the Husky offense. The Huskies defense has been a pleasant surprise, ranking 13th in college football early on in the season. They will have their hands full with Bear Raid commander Jared Goff hoping to light up the scoreboard once more.
Cal comes into this game fresh off their thrilling win over Texas and hopes to leave a bit healthier than they left Austin. Daniel Lasco is listed as questionable, but as last week illustrated their isn't a lack of depth at the running back position. If Cal can come out of this game with a dominant win, the Bears should find themselves ranked in the top-25 for the first time since 2010.
