Both Damariay Drew and DeVante Wilson had foot sprains against Texas. Drew is fully healthy and participated in practice on Tuesday night. Expect him to play against Washington.
Wilson was dressed in practice but didn't participate quite as fully, so he's probably questionable for Saturday's game at this point.
Daniel Lasco did some conditioning drills in practice yesterday but did not dress, so you'd have to guess he's at best questionable for Saturday's game against Washington. Vic Enwere and Tre Watson got the bulk of practice carries for the Bears.
Cal safety Griffin Piatt did practice, but safeties coach Greg Burns does not anticipate Piatt will be ready for Saturday's game against Washington.
A few other quotes from the press conferences with Sonny, Stephen, and Michael. Full videos of Anderson and Barton are below, Dykes above.
Sonny Dykes
On the offensive line: "They whipped us physically up front, on both sides of the ball, last year... We didn't do a good job of getting them ready, they outcoached us and outplayed us... I think we've got to play better across the board than last year, to have a chance to win... I think our offensive line is playing much better, we have more experience, the guys want to get out there and compete better than last year... And certainly as a coaching staff we want to do a better job..."
On Jake Browning: "Jake reminds me a lot of Jared... Troy [Taylor] did a great job [with Browning in high school]... He has good fundamentals, he's a smart, calm, confident kid... He got so many reps as a high school player, they gave him a chance to compete as a freshman... Looks like he's going to be a really good quarterback..."
Stephen Anderson
On the 3rd down catch vs. Texas: "That's a catch I looked at a bunch of times. It's just a technique thing, it usually doesn't happen, and it's something that I need to stay focused with. I felt bad, I let my team down. A lot of teammates encouraged me on the sideline."
On the Washington game: "They had a really good defense last year, and they still do. It seemed like we were going thru the motions [during the first half], and we weren't being as aggressive as we should have. We need to come out aggressively and pay attention to all the details on our assignments..."
If you've ever hear this sound before or during a Cal football game, it's Stephen Anderson's mom showing her love. pic.twitter.com/yBHkVF6QlZ

Michael Barton
On Washington: "It was a letdown for us. It was a big game for us to defend our home field, and they physically beat us down. We're looking for redemption this year."
On dual-threat quarterbacks: "Heard, he's an excellent player - I think he took everyone by surprise... We need to be able to stay in our pass rush lanes, and keep track of the QB at all times."
