T.J. Leaf sets official visits to Cal on October 23 and UCLA on October 30

The five star product out of Foothills Christian recently decommitted from Arizona. Cal and UCLA both made the cut for his top 8 schools and will both receive an official visit.

Cuonzo Martin brought in a tremendous class in 2015, and has been riding that moment into 2016, as he already has two verbal commitments from four star recruits in Oscar Frayer and Tyson Jolly. Right now, his attention has turned towards 2016 five star PF TJ Leaf.

Cal has cracked Leaf's top eight schools along with a ton of bluebloods:

Getting Leaf would go a long way towards establishing continuity at the power forward position, which has had a lack of depth for a long time. Leaf will take two Pac-12 visits near the end of October.

Rumor has it that UCLA is the leader to land Leaf. Similar to the Jaylen Brown situation last year, there is a belief that Leaf's experience playing on the Adidas circuit in AAU for the Compton Magic is going to lead to him playing for and Adidas school. Hopefully, Martin can have some repeat magic and land one of the most coveted recruits of the 2016 cycle.

Leaf is a very intriguing prospect with good handles and an exceptional shot at 6-9. Leaf would be a welcome addition to a class that is already shaping up to be among the best in the Pac-12.
