Jordan Duncan, four-star Mississippi wide receiver, commits to Cal after official visit

Cal scores a highly touted recruit from the Mississippi Mafia, as they make inroads on the recruiting trail in Mississippi. Cal is once again on the board with a four star recruit.

Jordan Duncan committed to Cal a day after his official visit, and it looks like Coach Peeler has once again done a fantastic job of making a recruit feel at home on his visit.

In Duncan, Cal gets a highly touted Wide Receiver with good speed and big playmaking ability. At 6-2 200 lbs, Duncan possesses good size and could be ready to compete as soon as soon as he hits campus, especially with exodus of receivers that will unfold at the end of the year. Most importantly though, Duncan is an exceptional route runner with a great football IQ. In his tape, Duncan is constantly on page with his Quarterback during extended plays and he is not afraid to go up and catch balls over defensive backs. Duncan could develop into the next Kenny Lawler with his playmaking ability and help to continue the trend of Cal's dominant receiving core.

Duncan joins Logan Gamble, Drew Kobayashi, and Matt Laris among current Cal wide receiver commits. The Bears are up to 22 solid verbals from this class. Duncan picked Cal over schools like Alabama, Arkansas, Louisville, the Mississippi programs, Tennessee and West Virginia.
