Football season is nearly upon us, friends. Fall camp has begun, pigskins are flying through the air, and the preseason rankings are a who's who of SEC teams and college football bluebloods, many of whom will be unranked by week five. That's right, we're deep into August. That means it's prediction season at CGB, and for the second week in a row we ask you to gaze into your crystal ball and predict the future. This week we focus on the Bears' season. The task is simple: give us Cal's chances of defeating each opponent on the schedule.
In the following form, please indicate the probability from 0 to 1 that Cal will beat the opponent. If you think Cal has a 50% chance of beating Grambling State, put "0.50" in the form. If you think we have a 99.999% chance of winning, put "0.99999" in the form. Please keep your responses between 0 and 1 or else I'll have to edit the data manually, and I've reached the point in my ivory tower where I needn't soil my hands with the dirt and grime of real data. That is why we have undergrads.
If you have trouble accessing the form below, you can also access it here. We welcome you to share your predictions in the comments. You can add up all your predictions to get a projected win total. Thanks for participating and Go Bears! We will post the results in about two weeks.
