Camilo Eifler picks Washington over Cal

The consensus four-star prospect is deciding today and Cal is in his top 6. Hopefully Cal can get its second Bishop O' Dowd recruit of the year.

Camilo Eifler is going to pick between his Top 6 schools today at The Opening, in between 5:00 and 8:00.

Eifler is a consensus four-star recruit who is rated 172 overall and the 13th best OLB according to the 247sports Composite Rankings. One of the local prospects in the Bay Area, Cal would love to get him and he could really help to provide depth in the defensive backfield.

Eifler's current top 6? The California Golden Bears, Oregon Ducks, Michigan Wolverines, Texas A&M Aggies, UCLA Bruins, and Washington Huskies, in alphabetical order.

Washington is rumored to be the favorite to land Eifler, however there is still a chance that he could stay close to home and pick Cal.

Landing Eifler could be huge for Cal, as they have struggled to sign highly rated defensive recruits close to home. However, losing Eifler would really hurt since he goes to school just a few miles away, and it would be yet another highly rated recruit near Berkeley who ended up somewhere else in the Pac-12.
