2016 NFL Draft: California Preview
Jared Goff, QB, Junior, 6-4, 210, 4.76
Handed the keys to Cal's future almost immediately after signing with the team, Goff has steadily impressed over his first seasons and looks poised to jump into the conversation with seniors Cody Kessler (USC) and Kevin Hogan (Stanford) as the top quarterback prospect in the Pac-12 and the best talent at the position at Cal since Aaron Rodgers.
Goff impressed as a true freshman, completing 60.3% of his passes for 3,508 yards and an 18-10 touchdown to interception ratio. He shattered those numbers last season (62.1%/3,973/35-7) despite a lackluster supporting cast and enters his junior campaign with 19 school records already under his belt.
