VIDEO: Ivan Rabb arrives at UC Berkeley, ready for Cal basketball

GO BEARS!

Via CalBears.com:

With members of the men's basketball recruiting class already on campus taking classes and participating in summer workouts, CalBears.com followed them around campus to see how they are adjusting to the college life so far.

Our first feature is on freshman Ivan Rabb from Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland. Calif. We caught up with the 6-11 power forward in between sessions during freshman orientation on campus to see how he is enjoying the college experience.

From TodaysU:

Playing next to Brown is Ivan Rabb, who is another top-10 recruit who decided to stay in-state to play for the Golden Bears. Rabb was arguably the biggest signing for the program as he’s probably the best player in the state–which is obviously rich in talent–to stay home to play for Cal. Obviously, Rabb will be slated in to start at center from day one and provides a different type of post player than most. He’s traditional in the sense of a true post game on the offensive side of the ball, but Rabb is more athletic than most who play the center position. He’s a rim protector defensively while uses his second jump to patrol the glass.
