Bears blitz through the pool play undefeated for the 6th in the 6 year of this tournament. Bears defeated Boston College 33-5 to open the tournament. Then the Bears beat Notre Dame 39-5 before closing out pool play with a 12-7 win over Virginia Tech (Bears were up 12-0 at the half).

Thanks to the perfect 3-0 record AND the margin of victories, the Bears are the top seed for Sunday's knockout stage.

Navy, Indiana, and Arkansas State all went 3-0 in pool play as well. Also made it to the final 8 are Arizona (winner of a pool) and Kutztown (top wild card). The last team to get in is Michigan who got the 2nd wild card spot.

In the morning's QF action:

Bears shutout Michigan by a 31-0 score.

Life beats Navy 15-5 to earn a matchup against the Bears in the semifinal.

Kutztown (the other Golden Bears) defeated Mark Cuban's Indiana squad 31-12.

The last of the semifinal spot goes to our Pac-12 frenemy Arizona, who edged Arkansas State 7-5.

GO BEARS!
