And the football commit train rolls on (you Bears!). Zion Echols, an athlete out of Covina, CA has just made it official and committed to play his collegiate football in Berkeley for the Golden Bears.

Echols is a multi-purpose back that also sees the field in special teams, so I'm sure that Sonny and Co will find plenty of ways for him to find the ball in the Bear Raid. He comes from Charter Oaks HS and was recruited by Jacob Peeler, so yet another great get by one of our newest coaches.
He's a solid 3/4 star on the recruiting services so this looks like another great pickup for the Bears!
Ratings:
Scout: 3/4-star (his page says 3-star, tweets say 4-star. 4-star it is!)
Welcome to Cal Zion!
