Cal's Luca Cupido was named tournament MVP as the USA Men's Senior National Team earned the Bronze Medal at the FINA Men's Intercontinental Tournament with a convincing 19-7 win over China Saturday at Corona del Mar High School.

The No. 14-ranked Cal baseball team (21-9, 8-4 Pac-12, ranked 14th in Collegiate Baseball, 23rd in Baseball America) returns to Beiden Field Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. looking to avenge a 7-2 loss at Fresno State (16-17, 7-5 in the Big West) March 25.

MLB Opening Day

Proving that a top academic institution can also produce top professional athletes, the Cal baseball program showcases six former standouts - Brennan Boesch (Cincinnati Reds), Mark Canha (Oakland A's), Allen Craig (Boston Red Sox), Brandon Morrow (San Diego Padres), Tyson Ross (San Diego Padres) and Marcus Semien (Oakland A's) - who are on the opening day rosters for the 2015 Major League season.

Marcus Semien helped Sonny Gray earn his first victory of the season with an RBI single to center in the bottom of the fourth inning against Texas.
