More from CalBears.com:Earlier this week, Boyd was named an Associated Press Second Team All-American alongside teammate and Third Team selection Reshanda Gray. She, along with the other nine members of the team that was selected from a group of 52 finalists, was honored today in a ceremony held at Amalie Arena in Tampa during the 2015 NCAA Women’s Final Four Super Saturday Festivities.
"This is an exciting day for our program, as Brittany has been named the first WBCA All-American in the history of Cal Women's Basketball," California head coach Lindsay Gottlieb said. "Over the course of four years, Brittany developed from an exciting talent into one of the most well-rounded players in the country. She filled up a stat sheet with points, rebounds and assists all year, but she also learned to control the game in ways that don't show up on the stat sheet. I am incredibly proud of Brittany for receiving this honor and happy for our program, as something this big clearly reflects on every player, past and present."
