Ivan Rabb will decide between Cal or Arizona at Monday, 7 p.m. Pacific

Our watch has ended.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Night gathers, and so Rabb watch begins.

It does not end until my death. Or Monday night at 7 p.m. Pacific at his mom's restaurant.

I have taken no wife, held no lands, and father no children. Mostly because Cal is in a multi-million dollar stadium debt and they will be receiving our donations for years to come.

I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. Because we did not make it to the NIT.

I shall live and die at my post. Quite possibly die if Rabb says "Bear" followed by "Down."

I am the sword in the darkness who greets Tyson Jolly to Cal. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the broken soul who needs eternal validation after Caleb Swanigan went from Viper to Mountain.

I am the shield that guards the realms of men, which is mostly very sad Cal fans who need steady and stable companionship in their life to keep them from following every movement of an 18 year old who can play basketball very well (scouting report).

I pledged my life and honor to Rabb Watch, for this night and all the nights to come. Which is tomorrow night. Because it's over tomorrow night.
