Oxford (Ms.) wide receiver DeKaylin Metcalf has already made an early commitment to Ole Miss, but the best recruit in Mississippi and a top five national wide receiver is already taking an early trip to Cal. D.K. is a big target for Jacob Peeler, and could be a huge early get for the up-and-coming coach.

Let's take a look at some of the other prospects the California Golden Bears are targeting.
Bethesda (Md.) linebacker Keith Simms is also making a trip cross-country to check out Cal along with Stanford on Easter weekend. Maryland and Wisconsin are also in the mix, but the Cardinal are the early favorites. Perhaps the Bears can tighten the gap.
Temecula (Ca.) Great Oak athlete Demetric Felton really likes his Cal offer and keeps in contact with Michigan, Arizona State and Washington. Those are the schools that he might end up visiting. Greg Biggins of Scout is reporting that Cal and Michigan stand out on top, and Felton is wanted as a slot receiver.
Fontana (Ca.) Summit wide receiver Damian Alloway plans to take a bunch of trips to schools like Cal, Utah, UCLA and Washington.
Rialto (Ca.) Carter linebacker Lokeni Toailoa wants to take some trips to schools like Cal, Utah, UCLA, Washingtona nd Notre Dame.
The next recruit on commitment watch could be Honolulu (Hi.) St. Louis wide receiver Drew Kobayashi, who really likes the Bears.
