Greyson Bankhead signs with Cal, faxes in letter of Intent

Welcome Greyson! GO BEARS!

Greyson Bankhead

Welcome Greyson Bankhead!

Greyson hails from Corona Centennial and is a consensus three-star wide receiver, who is listed at 5'10 and around 160 pounds and also held offers from Arizona and SMU.  He's an offensive weapon that can be lined up in a variety of different positions on the field to make plays.

On film,he does display above average quickness and agility with good body control and suddenness. He runs good routes, and has a good sense of how to get open. As it stands, he is undersized at just 160 pounds and will probably need a little bit of time to continue to add strength to his frame at the next level, especially in the blocking game.

All things considered, Bankhead seems to be primed to be a key option in the bear raid attack in the near future.

Here are Bankhead's respective class rankings:

  • ESPN: three stars, 92nd ranked wide receiver, 71st ranked player in California
  • Scout: three stars, 134rd ranked wide receiver
  • Rivals: three stars, 89th ranked wide receiver, 86th ranked player in California
  • 247sports: three stars, 120th ranked wide receiver, 114th ranked player in California
