Jaylinn Hawkins decision: ASU, Boise State, Cal, Oregon, Utah, Washington?

Who knows?

The California Golden Bears still might have one more surprise left in them. Could Buena Park (Ca.) wide receiver and athlete Jaylinn Hawkins be the one to give Cal a final National Signing Day surprise? Hawkins will make his announcement tomorrow with Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Oregon, and Utah all contending to varying degrees.

Who knows where he stands. A lot of experts seem to have Hawkins on his way to Arizona State, but it's not a firm consensus as of yet. Hawkins has been pretty mum on his favorites, with the Sun Devils interspersed among many other schools. There's Boise State, there's Washington, there's Cal, who all got official visits, with the Bears going last on the big official visit weekend.

Cal is getting a little bit of buzz here, but it's not a lot, so consider this one in longshot territory. It's nice to be in the conversation at the least though. The Bears are loaded up on defensive backs and wide receivers, but I'm sure they could make room for Hawkins (who could play pretty quickly if given the chance), as they will need to start replenishing the coffers on both sides within two years.

Arizona State is the favorite though, so we'll have to just hope that we can shock the world here.
