The California Golden Bears recruiting class is starting to wrap itself up. With A.D. Miller deciding to pick Oklahoma over Cal, the Bears had one extra scholarship to offer, and they decided to hand it off to West College kicker Dylan Klumph. Klumph was quick to commit and become one of Cal's latest commitments in the 2015 class. He will have four years to play three.
With Miller off to Oklahoma, #Cal offered & landed a commitment from JuCo kicker @Dylan_Klumph, @chris_sailer's 6th ranked 2015 kicker.

Klumph is ranked as the 6th best kicker in the country by kicking guru Chris Sailer and is part of his overall top 12 seniors and JC kickers in the country. Klumph's future might be at punter, but he could compete at kicker next season as well.
Read what Sailer has to say about him:
Dylan is an outstanding punter. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. One of the best junior college punting prospects in the nation. Punts for great distance and hang time. He has shown huge improvement over the years. Does very well under pressure. The sky is the limit for Dylan. Has a great attitude and work ethic. Dylan has a bright college future. Big time D1 prospect.
Cal does need to add to their kicking depth chart. Cole Leninger is pencilled in as the punter for next season, leaving a wide open kicking competition between several contenders. James Langford has graduated, so that leaves Matt Anderson, Noah Beito, and Robbie McInerney vying for the position. Expect Klumph to jump into the fray right away and try and make his mark as early as possible.
