It's been a fun week around here. We've seen Sonny's name pop up at Mizzou, Virginia, and South Carolina, and watched an endlessly entertaining stream of reactions to the possibility that Sonny will leave. Much of the wild speculation should slow down, however, as the football team is scheduled to return to practice today. Faraudo's sources suggest that the Sonny situation should be resolved by Friday. What that resolution entails is unclear, but something may happen by the end of the day. Either 1) Sonny signs an extension and we mark the end of silly season in Berkeley or 2) Sonny departs silly season really begins in Berkeley.
