The Bears keep on hitting the JUCO ranks.

Cal has landed another junior college commit in Jordan Veasy. Veasy committed to the Bears a few moments ago on Twitter after making his official visit this weekend to Berkeley.

Veasy's offer list includes schools like Central Arkansas, Eastern Michigan, UTSA and UAB. However Cal Rivals indicates that schools like Auburn, Texas Tech and Washington State were all starting to show interest, so it was clearly imperative that Veasy make the jump.

From his spring tape, you can see why Veasy would compel them. He's a big physical dude. At 6'2 or 6'3 at around 215 pounds, Veasy is going to be a pretty tough matchup. Veasy caught 63 balls for 1,036 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

Veasy joins Jordan Duncan, Logan Gamble, Drew Kobayashi and Matt Laris among the team’s wide receiver commits, and is the fifth JUCO commit, joining defensive end Russell Becker, defensive back Marloshawn Franklin, offensive lineman A.J. McCollum and Dwayne Wallace.

Welcome to Cal Jordan! Go Bears!
