Football

7. California Golden Bears: After a terrible midseason slide, the Bears won two of their final three and the last one in glorious, come-from-behind-#Pac12AfterDark fashion. It was a legitimate victory over an ASU team that was playing good football.
Field Hockey
Cal field hockey senior captain Clara Goni picked up her second consecutive National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region honors, the organization announced Monday.
Women's Tennis
California's Maegan Manasse and Amanda Augustus will represent the United States in the 10th annual Master'U BNP Paribas international collegiate tournament that will run from Friday, Dec. 4, Sunday, Dec. 6, in Rennes, France.
Women's Basketball
A career-high 22 points from sophomore Mikayla Cowling paved the way for a Golden Bear win as California women's basketball defeated Liberty 77-72 Saturday at the South Point Shootout from the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Cal improves to 5-1 this season.
California forward Kristine Anigwe averaged a double-double at the South Point Shootout over Thanksgiving weekend to earn her second Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors of the season, the league announced Monday.
Anigwe is just one of two Bears to be named Freshman of the Week multiple times in a season since the inception of the award in 2012-13. She joins sophomore teammate Mikayla Cowling as a multiple-award winner.
