ATH Zion Echols (listed as a three- or four-star recruit by Rivals, 247, ESPN, and Scout) has decided to decommit from the California Golden Bears.
He posted the following on Twitter:

In light of Echols's decommitment, Cal's 2016 recruiting class is now ranked #31 nationally and #7 in the Pac-12.
But hey—let's continue spinning that rumor mill and ask if uncertainty about Dykes's future at Cal factored into this decision. Dykes probably directly told Echols to commit elsewhere on a visit, then paid a Cal assistant with a loaded coffee cup to punch Echols's family in their faces.
