The California Golden Bears—the offense in particular—was uncharacteristically ineffective to open the game against the Oregon State Beavers, but some big passing plays and run-pass balance in the second quarter have helped jump start the Bears en route to a 24–10 lead.

The Bears will get the ball to start the second half to try to build on the lead.
