After a year in prep school, Tyson is on his way to Cal!

Tyson Jolly, a 6-4 guard out of Oklahoma City who is considered one of the top shooting guards in the country, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of California, Berkeley.

Jolly starred at Putnam City West High School, where he averaged 20.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a senior in 2014-15. Jolly, who was named The Oklahoman’s Big All-City Player of the Year last season, is enrolled this year as a post-grad student at the Elev8 Sports Institute in Delray Beach, Florida.

"I’m happy to have Tyson on board with our program after a year at prep school," head coach Cuonzo Martin said. "He is a passionate player who is excited to be a part of what we are trying to do. He is tough, athletic and possesses a great desire to excel on the court. Tyson is a player who is willing to do whatever it takes to win, whether it is blocking a shot, getting a big rebound, scoring a big basket or making a big free throw."
