For the second week in a row, Cal has another Pac-12 defensive player of the week.
Cal defensive back Stefan McClure earned the honors after a sublime performance in beating Wazzu. McClure had a fumble recovery off a Washington State fake punt for a touchdown, an amazing sack that pushed Wazzu into a tougher field goal that the Cougars would miss, and a big pass breakup that stalled out a Washington State drive. You can watch the highlights of McClure's performance below.

It's got to be awesome for McClure, who has been hampered by injuries for much of the last three and a quarter years at Cal. To see him playing at such a high level in his final campaign with the Bears is the best. You couldn't ask for a better representative of the university either.
Cal's Kyle Kragen earned defensive player of the week honors against Washington. Cal still does not have an offensive player who's earned Pac-12 player of the week anything through five weeks! Who would've thought?
Go Bears!
