After two impressive road wins, the 4-0 "Kings of the North" come back to defend their throne at Strawberry Canyon. It feels like months have passed since the win against San Diego State and the Bears return a different team than when they left. Daniel Lasco looks ready to return to the lineup and our stable of running backs behind him should allow us to dominate the run game on Saturday.
Washington State comes into this game with a revamped defense, but one that has looked weak at times this season. Mike Leach's "Air Raid" has been inconsistent and Cal will hope to slow down the air reliant attack. Luke Falk leads the Cougars at quarterback and has filled in nicely replacing Connor Halliday. Washington State also has a solid trio of wide receivers with Gabe Marks, Rivers Cracraft and Dom Williams.
After two tough road games, Cal has come away fairly unscathed in regards to injury. Jared Goff looks fantastic through the first four games and each game a different wide receiver has stepped up. This Saturday should be no different as Goff looks to pick apart a vulnerable secondary and the Cal defense hopes to continue to create turnovers.
